Next Music Bloom location is Overflow Coffee - home to the former Vee Jay & Brunswick Record labels housing some of Chicago's prominent music figures from Jerry Butler, Gene Chandler, The Chi Lites, The Beatles, Gladys Knight and the list goes on. Over the past several years Overflow After Dark Productions (OAD) has put together countless community events paying homage and even highlighting and inviting back the artists to the space that came through the various label. 2023 was about building supportive communities, creating cool events where we can talk about the industry and come up with real solutions. It was a year of amazing growth in which we brought programming throughout Chicago neighborhoods, announced our e-learning platform and our first music cohort.
