(Webinar) Writing and Designing a Résumé with Kelli Evans

This event is part of AIGA Chicago’s Toolkit series.

Why are résumés so important?

Along with a cover letter, the purpose of a résumé is landing a job interview. According to research, it takes an average of ten interviews to receive one job offer. Often your résumé is the only indication of your abilities, accomplishments, and potential fit for the job.

Moreover, a prospective employer spends an average of 20 seconds or less scanning a résumé, therefore it must capture their interest immediately. As such, your résumé needs to be well-written, persuasive, meticulously designed, and perfect!

In this workshop, you will learn how to define your strengths, strategically craft content, structure your information, and design a user-centered document that will lead to the interview you need to secure that job.
