Martial arts and music…both centuries-old artforms that require incredible talent, skill, perseverance and hard work. And we celebrate these two crafts by delivering an incredible pair of rockstars in our next episode of The Smartest People In The Room.
Tom Callahan is a 35-year music industry veteran who has been at the forefront of most every music business change, and in several instances was the catalyst. As a top radio promotion executive, he helped develop the careers of A-listers such as Lionel Richie, Rod Stewart, Shania Twain, Lenny Kravitz, Paula Abdul, Hall & Oats and countless others. As an artist manager, he handled many artists including Phoebe Snow, Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees), Kaile Goh, Justin Hopkins, Olivia Rox, Arnold McCuller, Suzy K, and others. He’s now launching an exciting new venture, writing a book, and along the way, he has achieved the highest level of mastery you can attain in karate. In short, he’s done it all and has loads of inspiring stories to share.
Jeff Timmons is an American pop singer, songwriter, producer and founding member of the GRAMMY-nominated pop group 98 Degrees. In addition, he was also a member of the world-famous Chippendales as singer, performer and emcee. He’s seen a lot, done even more and we can’t wait to hear what he is up to now.
The stories these two stars will share are going to inspire and entertain and we are thrilled to have them as our guests on Tuesday, August 31 at 2:00 pm ET/11:00 am PT.
