He and his team are singularly responsible for putting the term “Americana” on the map and literally in the dictionary. He is also in the process of figuring out how to deliver the world-class Americana Music Festival and Conference in a safe way, given the uncertainties with Covid.

Dr. Warren Zanes is the proverbial “smartest guy in any room he enters”. Among his many titles include published author, movie producer, professional musician, songwriter, and Ph.D. And that does not begin to do him justice. He’s forgotten more about the music business and its history than most people will ever know.
