Jay Sweet has just about the coolest job in the world. He is the Executive Producer of The Newport Festivals Foundation, which means he runs The Newport Folk Festival and the Newport Jazz Festival for starters. It also means that he and his team are the architects of what year in and year out is the most well curated and produced large scale music festival on earth. I may be biased, but just trust me on that description. And this is just the tip of the iceberg of the amazing things he does in delivering incredible shows featuring many of the biggest icons in music history.
Danny Clinch is one of the music industry’s most famous and prolific photographers and filmmakers. Throughout his legendary career, he has shot and filmed a wide range of artists, from Johnny Cash to Tupac Shakur, from Bjork to Bruce Springsteen. His work has appeared on hundreds of album covers and in publications like Vanity Fair, Spin, Rolling Stone, GQ, Esquire, and more. One fun fact that puts him in class by himself is he got his start as an intern for Annie Leibovitz, one of the most famous photographers of the last century.
