One of our favorite aspects of producing these events is when we get to deliver really smart people who are doing exceptional work, yet might be flying beneath most everyone else’s radar. This event is a great example.
Granville Automatic, a Nashville based duo, comprised of songwriters Vanessa Olivarez and Elizabeth Elkins, is named after a 19th-century typewriter. In addition to writing hit songs for several established artists, these two amazing storytellers have released a very cool and unique combo- a record called Tiny Televisions and an accompanying book called The Hidden History of Music Row. Both pieces are exceptional in the quality of the storytelling and we promise you will leave this session a lot smarter than you arrived.
Leslie Fram is the SVP of Music Strategy and Talent at CMT. In this role, Leslie is one of the most powerful taste-makers in the entire music industry, and that’s just one of many hats she wears in the business. She is also a WHO KNEW alum, being featured at our first Women Who Rock programs in 2016.
We are thrilled to present this amazing lineup and invite you to learn more about all three of these exceptionally talented women.
