(Webinar) What does recovery look like for Chicago’s sports teams?

Every year the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce assembles the business and civic leaders of Chicago to celebrate the contributions commerce and industry make to our great city. The Annual Meeting of Membership has become the premier business event for Chicagoland.

In response to COVID-19 and due to large group gathering restrictions, this year, Chicago’s business community will “gather” virtually to watch the Chamber’s first-ever virtual Annual Meeting. The meeting will offer a robust program focused on Chicago’s economic recovery and include remarks from Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot and the Co-Chairs of the Chicagoland Chamber’s COVID-19 Economic Recovery Task Force.

The keynote panel will focus on the question, “What does recovery look like for Chicago’s sports teams?” Our panelists will discuss the challenges and opportunities they face in the business of sports. Viewers will be able to submit questions for panelists.

Panelists:

  • Ted Phillips, President & CEO, Chicago Bears
  • Michael Reinsdorf, President, Chicago Bulls
  • Tom Ricketts, Chairman, Chicago Cubs
  • Jim Rose (Moderator), Sports Anchor and Reporter, ABC 7 Eyewitness News

Serving as the “Voice of Business” since 1904, the Chamber is comprised of more than 1,000 members representing nearly 1.3 million employees in the region. Proceeds from this event benefit the Chamber’s advocacy efforts, small business initiatives and programming on the new challenges facing the business community during the Chicagoland’s economic recovery.
