As the world celebrates Pride Month, protecting the rights of the LGBTQ+ community at home and abroad remains as important a task as ever. This panel of Chicago arts leaders will discuss the progress made and the work that remains in the push for greater diversity and inclusion in the arts. The conversation will focus on the intersection of LGBTQ+, racial and socio-economic diversity in arts participation and education in addition to looking at the power of art as a platform to advocate for greater diversity and inclusion.
