Ever wondered how to get your music onto high-visibility playlists? The Music Trust and 2112’s discussion, How to Get Playlisted, will dive into strategies and best practices when pitching your music. Small and independent artists now account for 40% of all streaming revenues and are considered a multi-billion market in which playlisting plays a vital part. The webinar will be led by Clayton de la Chapelle and Eric Bowler of the Music Trust, an organization that’s been an established voice for nearly ten years in booking, live music, and curating events around the world. Both De la Chapelle and Bowler have a combined 35 years of experience in the music industry, and will use their knowledge to paint a picture of how important playlisting is in 2020.
De la Chapelle has consulted for over 25 national hotel and hospitality brands, led a team of account managers while working with teams on a national level. He developed, implemented and managed an over-head music solution for the national rollout that adhered to DMCA standards, while juggling the planning and coordinating of 100+ events a year during his leadership of the Music Trust. Bowler’s 20 years of experience have been spent as a DJ, marketer, and curator within the music industry. He also has seven years of experience in the hospitality industry, partnering with other Portland-based businesses like Maxwell, Revelry, Fortune, Tube, and Chef’s Table Group.
