In collaboration with female leaders in entrepreneurship and investment, Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs hosts Female Founders and Funders, a monthly meet-up to connect female entrepreneurs with female investors for mentorship, learning, and informal conversations about building a business. Curated opportunities for community and networking can be profoundly impactful, so every other month, we create intentional space for office hours with investors & industry experts and networking conversations with founder peers across the country.
This month’s office hours will be hosted by Ellen Weber, the Executive Director of Robin Hood Ventures (www.robinhoodventures.com), a leading angel group helping to fuel startup growth in the Philadelphia region. She also serves as the Executive Director of Mid-Atlantic Diamond Ventures, a venture forum for early-stage companies. She is very active in the Philadelphia startup community, supporting Philly Startup Leaders, Female Funders and Founders, and the Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs. Previously, Ellen was the COO and co-founder of VisionMine (www.visionmine.com), which provides a specialized Open Innovation portal to large corporations.
