Artificial intelligence (AI) is one the most hyped technologies of our time–with very good reason. Machine learning approaches, including deep learning, enable us to train models that can inference–classify, judge, predict, decide–better, faster, and/or cheaper than humans for an increasing number of increasingly complex tasks. Technology visionaries and leaders are proclaiming AI to be the most revolutionary capability of our time, and that AI will change every industry, every aspect of our lives, everything. In this first presentation of our “AI April,” we’ll explain what AI, machine learning, and deep learning, are and how they work. We’ll focus on understanding how this is truly different, and provide information on how to learn more–fast.
