Jessica Millstone, MPS, Ed.M, is a leading expert and advisor on the use of educational technology, and an investor in early-stage technology companies. Prior to launching Copper Wire Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on direct investments into women-led tech companies, Jessica was Director of Engagement at BrainPOP and also the inaugural Education Fellow at the Joan Ganz Cooney Center, a research + innovation lab within Sesame Workshop.
Jessica holds master’s degrees from New York University’s Interactive Telecommunication Program and Bank Street College of Education, and organizes the NYEdTech Meetup, a professional networking organization comprised of over 9000 educators, entrepreneurs and investors working in the edtech space.

I am a former education startup founder with 16+ years of experience scaling innovative education programs/schools, coaching founding teams of EdTech Startups globally, and investing in future-of-learning/future-of-work companies (seed-Series C).
